Travis’ unique sound has been described as “music for your soul…, a smooth jazz vibe, an inspirational feel, an R&B groove with just a pinch of funk.” 

His deeply moving, inspirational style can be heard in his own compositions and while accompanying other recording artists.

A native of North Carolina, Bridges met his first musical love, the saxophone at age ten during his first performance when he won a competition for his rendition of the brass player’s classic, “When the Saints go Marching In.” An undeniable connection to his instrument grew over time, as Bridges formed a strong bond with the Alto, Tenor, and Soprano saxophone. 

Travis released his second album,   Horn of Plenty / Harvest Harmony (Mighty Horn Music, 2012), in his second collaboration with producer Michael Norman. 

Milk and Honey / The Overflow (Mighty Horn Music) was released in 2009. A third project is expected soon!

Travis has opened for nationally known inspirational artists such: as Shirley Caesar, Oleta Adams, The Canton Spirituals, Shirley Murdock, Daryle Coley, Richard Smallwood, Ben Tankard, Yolanda Adams, J. Moss, and Helen Baylor. His music can be heard on smooth jazz, inspirational radio, and internet stations.

With a wide repertoire of smooth jazz, and top-40, inspirational and R&B tunes, Travis is often called upon to perform concerts, conferences, and corporate events. He is also available for weddings, banquets, private events, church services and other special occasions.
